Paper vs Cardstock
The number associated with each paper/cardstock represents weight/density.
The higher the number, the thicker/heavier the paper (text weight) or cardstock (cover weight).

 

Paper / Text Weight
  • Lightweight stock
  • Commonly used for interior pages (text pages)
Cardstock / Cover Weight
  • Thicker stock than text weight
  • Commonly used for exterior pages (cover pages)

 

 

Booklet Finishing Recommendation
Select Dull-Gloss paper on exterior pages and throughout image focused booklets.
Select Uncoated paper on interior, text focused pages.
