Jesse the Red Ear Slider
As an avid water gardener, I have always enjoyed ponding. One of the joys of being in Minnesota is trying to winter many of the tropical water plants. I used to use a 250 gallon stock tank but it didn’t look very nice. Our landscaping guys, Outdoor Innovations (612.968.4113 – Jason), helped us out and made us a great home for the plants. I thought it would nice to introduce some koi as well. Went to the local fish store and met this turtle. When the keeper fed him out of her hand, I knew I had to get him. He loves the plants, so now I am back to how to keep my plants for the winter and not to be eaten! “Like” Jesse on Facebook!
